To protect the community, every brand and every offer on Tiwaa is held to clear enforceable standards.

What Membership on Tiwaa Means

Tiwaa is not an open marketplace or a public directory.

EVERY OFFER YOU SEE

  • Comes from a verified Nigerian startup

  • Has been reviewed before going live

  • Is monitored after launch

Standards for Startups

ALL STARTUPS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING AT ALL TIMES

Active, Operating Business
  • Be actively operating in Nigeria or Serving Nigerian customers

  • Have a functioning product or service (not pre-launch or conceptual)

  • Be able to fulfill offers immediately upon approval

Inactive or non-operational businesses are not eligible

Proper Fulfillment
  • Offer all approved offers in full

  • Treat Tiwaa members fairly and respectfully

  • Resolve fullfilment issues in a timely manner

Failure to fulfill offers damages trust across the platform

Founders or operator Accountability
  • A reachable founder or senior operator

  • A valid email and escalation contact

This ensures accountability if issues arises

Honest & Clear Offers
  • Be Clearly described with clear conditions

  • Match what members receive in practice

  • State Eligibility, expiry and limitations upfront

Misleading or vague offers are not permitted

Digital Presence & Traceability
  • A legitimate website or active social media presence

  • Clear brand ownership and contact details

  • A traceable operating identity

Anonymous or untraceable brands are not allowed

Willingness to be Reviewed
  • Receive feedback from members

  • Be reviewed based on delivery of offers

  • Engage constructively when concerns are raised

Tiwaa does not guarantee positive feedback — only fair visibility

Standards for Members

To keep the platform fair and useful, members are expected to:

  • Use offers as intended

  • Avoid abuse, harassment, or false claims

  • Provide honest, respectful feedback

  • Report issues in good faith

MEMBERSHIP MAY BE SUSPENDED IF MISUSE IS DETECTED.
